Hotel Manager

Serenity Lodge Arusha is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our boutique property. The successful candidate will oversee front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.

Oversee all daily hotel operations

Ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle feedback

Manage and develop department heads and staff

Drive revenue and maximize profitability

Develop and implement marketing strategies

Maintain quality standards across departments

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

Coordinate with tour operators and travel agents

Oversee property maintenance

Handle staff recruitment, training, and performance

Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners

Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or Business

Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, with 2 years in managerial role

Strong knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management

Excellent leadership and customer service skills

Financial acumen and budgeting experience

Knowledge of hotel management software

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Proven track record of improving hotel performance
