IT Support Technician

Zanzibar Digital Solutions is seeking IT Support Technicians to join our team in Zanzibar. The successful candidates will provide frontline support, install and configure systems, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Provide first-line technical support to customers

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software

Troubleshoot network, printer, and peripheral issues

Set up and manage user accounts and email

Perform system updates and backups

Document and track support tickets

Escalate complex issues to senior technicians

Provide basic training to customers

Maintain IT inventory and asset records

Ensure compliance with IT security policies

Perform on-site visits to customer locations

Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach

Diploma or Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related

Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support

Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and networking basics

Experience with hardware troubleshooting

Good understanding of printers, routers, and switches

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work independently

Willingness to travel to customer sites
