Procurement Assistant

Capital Supplies Tanzania is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team in sourcing goods, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining purchase documentation in compliance with procurement regulations.

Support the preparation of purchase requisitions and orders

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Coordinate with suppliers on deliveries and invoices

Prepare monthly procurement reports

Support the tender process under supervision

Maintain the approved supplier database

Verify received goods against purchase orders

Support budget tracking for procurement activities

Ensure compliance with procurement regulations

Respond to supplier inquiries promptly

Assist with filing and archiving procurement documents

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Administration

Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related role

Strong knowledge of procurement processes

Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Strong attention to detail

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of PPRA regulations will be an advantage
