Secondary School Teacher (Mathematics & Physics)

Lake View Academy is seeking qualified teachers to teach Mathematics and Physics at O-Level and A-Level, prepare students for national examinations, and contribute to academic development.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Physics

Prepare students for national examinations (NECTA)

Develop and implement lesson plans and materials

Assess student progress through tests and exams

Provide academic support and remedial classes

Maintain accurate records of student performance

Participate in school meetings and professional development

Communicate regularly with parents

Support extracurricular activities

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment

Collaborate on curriculum development

Stay updated with teaching methodologies

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Bachelor's in Mathematics/Physics with teaching qualification

Must be registered with the Teachers' Service Commission (TSC)

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian secondary curriculum

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Passion for teaching and mentoring
